Mr.Veera Wongsamudra, Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives ,has visited areas affecfted by flood in Uthaitani Province recently and given sequently money amounted to 221 million Baht to wipe up those concerned totally 8,777 cases .
While the BAAC has speeded up packages to transfer loans to her clients affected by flood and storm in 54 provinces and also prepared to provide addtional loans to revive the victims on occupation and life quality.
Mr.Luck Wajananawatch , BAAC President , has revealed that the Bank has lending hands to the farmers totally 2,090 cases and relaxed payment to her clients upto 2,438 cases with the provision of loan at 389,780,849 Baht including prop-up loans to revive occupation and life quality under special condition not exceeding 100,000 Baht per person.Apart from that the Bank has lowered her interest to 3 % from the normal rate within 3 years.The golden package also covers the collateral normally calculated at 50 % of the appraised value,eligilbly to get loan maximum to its property ceiling.For those clients using group guarantee among 5 members,the Bank has unlocked the condition and expanded the guarantee amount from 150,000 Baht/person to the new option at 200,000 Baht/person.
The Cabinet has also approved the budget to help shape the farmers affected at the amount of 14,883 million Baht and transferred to the BAAC account at 12,000 million Baht which the Bank could achieve target of 487,080 cases within the amount given.
